What happens when you solve the biggest problem in your agency?
As I’ve run Credo over the last six years, I’ve surveyed agency owners many times. You may have taken one of these.
Basically the question I am trying to get good answers to, so I can better serve all of you, is “what is the biggest thing holding you back from growing your agency?”
90% of the answers are some variation of “more leads.” And that’s not surprising because Credo is a lead generation service for marketing agencies, so people come to us when they think their need is more leads.
When I dig into it a bit more, I honestly uncover that most of the time their issue is not more leads.
It’s usually:
They’re not making as much money as they’d like (or they don’t have the profit margin they want).
Their pricing is too low.
Their offer to prospects is TOO good.
They don’t have enough time to fulfill clients.
Feast and famine because they’re billing hourly.
When you look at all of that, what strikes you?
None of these are lead problems.
Their issue isn’t more leads. It’s that their agency isn’t set up for success.
Here’s a video I shot for you today as I was picking up breakfast burritos for my wife and I after dropping our kid at daycare. The first 5 minutes is me setting the context by talking about personal finance and buying a second home, and after that I get specifically into how to grow your agency.
It’s how to make your agency so that it can handle an influx of new leads that pay you what you're worth, you can get great results for, and you have a team that can do all of that without you.
Hint: it’s probably not about more leads.
